The largest public golf course in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, Bear Creek features two 18-hole courses designed by Ted Robinson in 1980. The courses were purchased by affiliates of Hunt-Woodbine Realty Corporation and Hyatt Corporation in 1986 and were operated by Hyatt until 2001, when ClubCorp leased them under a lease-purchase agreement. The course was sold to CNL Lifestyle Properties in 2006. Woodbine handled asset management and construction/renovation management of the properties until they were sold.
