Woodbine entered the mid-scale hotel market with development of this hotel in Gilbert in partnership with Hyatt Hotels and Resorts.  It is the first new-build, non-franchised Hyatt Place in Arizona.  This new Hyatt brand is highly lauded by a broad spectrum of business and leisure travelers.  Woodbine is actively looking for new sites for this "new kind of Hyatt for today's relaxed lifestyle," as evidenced by the start of construction in June 2009 of a new Hyatt Place on a site purchased in Sugar Land, Texas, in April 2009.
