Hyatt Regency Dallas at Reunion
The $71-million initial hotel development was completed in April 1978 as part of the 50-acre Reunion District. In 2000, a $76-million expansion doubled the property’s meeting and exhibit space, added 183 guest rooms and updated public spaces, including the hotel’s entry. Guest rooms were renovated in a $13.4-million project in 2003-05, and 2007-08 brought a $9-million renovation of Cumberland Hall and seven deluxe suites. Reunion Tower and Union Station, elements of the Reunion District that offer event space for Hyatt Regency Dallas, underwent a $46-million renovation in 2008-09. Reunion Tower is now home to Five Sixty by Wolfgang Puck, the celebrity chef’s first fine-dining restaurant in Texas, and event space managed by Wolfgang Puck Catering.
Hyatt Regency Dallas received its 30th consecutive AAA Four-Diamond rating in 2009. The hotel’s other awards include 13 annual Pinnacle Awards from Successful Meetings; 14 annual Gold Awards from Meetings & Conventions; a spot on Expedia.com’s Insiders’ Select™ List; and the Environmental Protection Agency’s 2006 Green Power Leadership Club.
Woodbine is asset manager and developer/construction manager for this property.
