Spa Moulay

Woodbine was recruited by Transcontinental Corporation to develop the Hyatt Regency Lake Las Vegas Resort, Spa Moulay’s home, within its 2,245-acre Lake Las Vegas development in Henderson, Nevada, in 1996.

Typically a Woodbine resort and spa draws its inspiration from a location’s history and indigenous elements, but the Transcontinental-developed Lake Las Vegas is a 320-acre manmade lake 17 miles from the Las Vegas Strip, calling for a different spin. The Mediterranean theming of the surrounding development led Woodbine to create a Moroccan feel for Hyatt Regency Lake Las Vegas Resort, which opened in December 1999. The décor and treatments at the resort’s Spa Moulay help visitors feel as if they’re a million miles away, amidst desert and mountains.

Woodbine served as asset manager for the resort through the completion of its December 2006 sale to Loews Hotel Corporation.
