Windflower, The Hill Country Spa
Woodbine’s plan for this spa was to create something unexpected as a way to distinguish Windflower from other resort spas. The design is based on an 1880s Hill Country ranch house, and details such as distressed timbers, a standing-seam metal roof and a warm, earthy décor make guests feel as if they’ve entered a genuine piece of ranching history reborn as a spa.
In 2008, Windflower was honored in the World Travel Awards as Texas’ Leading Spa. Hyatt Hill Country is regularly recognized as one of the nation’s top resorts, and in 2009 was picked for Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best Hotels.
Woodbine serves as managing general partner, development/construction manager and asset manager for this property.
