Designed by acclaimed architect Arthur Hills/Steve Forrest and Associates, this course makes the most of the terrain’s natural beauty. The layout plays like three courses in one, offering three distinct terrains: rolling prairie land, a heavily wooded ridgeline and a river valley dotted with native pecan trees. The name “Wolfdancer” was inspired by the historic Tonkawa tribe’s creation dance. The clubhouse architecture is patterned after a “four-square barn” design found in the historical farming communities of the area. Wolfdancer’s accolades include the No. 14 spot in Golf Magazine’s “Best Public Courses in Texas” and the No. 53 The Dallas Morning News’ “Top 100 Courses in Texas.”

“This … is a ‘young course’ that will just ‘get better with age’ and is already luring golfers to the ‘beautiful Hill Country’ just a ‘short drive’ from Downtown Austin; it offers ‘forgiving fairways’ and ‘tricky but fair greens’ that ‘get tougher as you head back into the trees’ …”
