As the developer of this project, Woodbine went above and beyond, even trucking in dirt from its nearby Valwood Park project to reclaim the flood plain and make the land usable. Additionally, Woodbine negotiated a property exchange with Jackson-Shaw Company to enhance values for both parties. Today, employees and visitors enjoy a business campus with two lakes, jogging paths and lakeside seating.
Capital Center is in one of the most progressive growth centers in the Metroplex. Many sites offer freeway or lake frontage.
Lesson Learned - Economies of scale matter in land development; smaller is not necessarily easier, but it pays to think big.
